Ipsy Reviews

While Ipsy does send a mixture of high-end and lesser-known brands, some people complain about receiving products they don’t love. We got some really good products this month, and I was especially happy to try the Goldfaden MD serum because I’ve been curious about it for a while. I don’t think I’ll be purchasing the full-size anytime soon, so I’ll just enjoy it for as long as the sample lasts.

Some also say that the products they received aren’t based on the quiz. Is a Hanalei lip treatment – a Hawaiian product that uses pure kukui oil, agave, grape seed oil, and shea butter to moisturize and soften lips. It also gives a bit of a rose tint to my lips, which makes it look like a pretty lip gloss. This would be perfect for days when your lips are extra dry but you still want to wear makeup.

Birchbox began to hear about this mysterious Small Things Blogger who would write up a review of their product each month. They noticed some traffic coming from my blog to their site. I get both Ipsy and Birchbox and Birchbox definitely dominated this month. I did get a more flattering pink blush and coral lipliner in my glam bag than you did. Still I LOVE that exfoliating cleanser that Birchbox sent and even bought the full size. I got dry shampoos in both bag/box so that was useful.

It’s not sticky either and left my lips feeling hydrated. Before you sign up for a subscription, you must first fill out the Ipsy quiz with details on who you are and what beauty products you like. Ipsy is a personalized makeup and beauty subscription service. One of the things I didn’t like about the quiz was that they don’t have an option to say that you don’t wear a certain kind of makeup.

You must keep logged in your IPSY account while clicking on the link in the email. 2.5 A pop up will ask if you want to Skip a Month instead. If you don’t want to skip, click “Continue cancellation.” Procedure to cancel IPSY subscription is quite complicated. Regardless, I am beyond happy with my April bag. I can confidently say that they took my beauty profile into consideration when curating my April Ipsy Bag. A custom selection of beauty products for only $12 per month!

They also scam people who complete surveys for them. They will have you complete a survey for 48 min and disqualify you for no reason at the end. I will continue to write bad reviews for this company until the day I die.
